Although it is sad that your charity did not raise more money, it is highly commendable for the way you structured it. I think that the only thing that you were missing was some better marketing up front. In all, ignoring all the entertainment value and silliness of your venture, you are to be commended for putting such a human face on the world, for your giving a smile to the average human inhabitant wherever you went, and whatever that 'average' happened to be. The world is a small place and the more we ALL realize how small and where there is need and that we are all one, the better. I think your little adventure goes a long way toward that goal. Perhaps the best that could come out of this might be that you repeat your journey (maybe a different route) with better marketing or funding from those that share that vision and can put the tuxedo duo to a more visible audience. Again, congratulations - let's hope that you can pull together a great DVD or something as recap of your total trip, and to use it to keep your 'silly fund' going.
