you did a good job,I appreciated, hope you are going on for the significative thing, love and miss from China
Your adventure looks amazing. I love the idea of traveling for a real reason! I'm inspired and impressed
Hey Doug, This is Will, the redheaded kid who was on the bus with you to Hanoi. Heath got stuck at the border, we ate some pho, arm wrestled the locals, hit their crazy tobacco bong. Anyway, just thought I would let you know I'm studying abroad in Bangkok for the spring and taking the train to europe in the summer. talking to you was definitely an inspiration. nice website.
good job folks. i wish i could do something like this. keep it going :)
I just wanted to say that I saw you guys on CNN and I really LOVE what you're doing, I could only dream of doing what you guys are. I really hope you guys go on another adventure soon- keep it up and the travel channel will be calling you offering you your own tv show haha Good luck
For Tuxedo Travels 2, I think you ought to contact Cirque de Soleil and see if they will pass on a couple of costumes which are no longer in use...something with lots of sequins!
I just found your website (who knows what search engine brought me here) and have been quite entertained by watching a few of your videos and the many photos of your 'adventure.' Although it is sad that your charity did not raise more money, it is highly commendable for the way you structured it. I think that the only thing that you were missing was some better marketing up front. In all, ignoring all the entertainment value and silliness of your venture, you are to be commended for putting such a human face on the world, for your giving a smile to the average human inhabitant wherever you went, and whatever that 'average' happened to be. The world is a small place and the more we ALL realize how small and where there is need and that we are all one, the better. I think your little adventure goes a long way toward that goal. Perhaps the best that could come out of this might be that you repeat your journey (maybe a different route) with better marketing or funding from those that share that vision and can put the tuxedo duo to a more visible audience. Again, congratulations - let's hope that you can pull together a great DVD or something as recap of your total trip, and to use it to keep your 'silly fund' going.
Hey Dougy boy, congrats on making it through! Wish I could've partied in London with you guys. I just took a look at the Flickr photos from your celebrations. I have to say, I'm a little surprised to see both of you made it alive and unscathed. Vacuum-packed chicken feet for everyone.
hey babe how are you? how was your visit to paris? mine was really good
I am so proud of the two of you! Every story has been wonderful and I cannot wait to have you home safe and sound. This is remarkable what you have done and your loving hearts, your wit, brains, integrity and true humanity is so rare, I am blessed to be the Mother of one of you. Thank you Douglas and I'm delighted you met Heath. Can't wait to see you xxx Momsie Jojo
Hey Guys, Thanks for the thrills. Three individuals wanted to make a donation to your efforts (but they didn't have any funds to spare). So...these 100.00 USD funds are from Zeno, Kathleen, and Paulee. They all think your adventures are excellent, as do I, who actually sent the funds. One is a 70 year old Motorcycle rider, one is a Special Education Teacher/Paralegal/Bartender and the other is Druken Sot who is actually quite funny indeed with an amazingly diverse background. They all salute, as I express their wishes. Peace and Freshness Yo Cuz Sy
Hi Doug and Heath! Good to read about your adventures! Very funny! I don't know know if you remember me, its Annie, the french canadian girl, we met in Rishikesh, and I also had the chance to see you performance of the "birth and death" live!! Just wanted to say its been really nice to meet you guys, good luck to reach London on time, and take care! Annie xxx
Enjoyed meeting both of you at the National Horse games Festival. Good luck, safe journeys and continue with your envedours.
Hope you boys make it in time. If you are still looking for things to do there was that one idea i had at tiger leaping gorge.... As you are formally dressed and Heath has a massive camera, you could try and sneak into a wedding and pretend to be proffesional photographers/general staff. However, i see you are pressed for time. Go go go! Best of luck.
I can't believe that you two are underfund already :(... Hey, the donation works :D! (sorry, only 100.) Wish you both have a safe trip back to London! May the force be with you! gc
Thank you for your support to SOS Children's Villages of India with your donation. The Printer, DVD and the Pendrive donated by you will be utilized by the children in the Vocational Training Centre, Faridabad. Your sensitivity and concern for the work of SOS Children's Villages of India continues to encourage us to reach out to more needy children and help them to live life with dignity and participate in the joys of childhood.
Thanks Grace! We're striving to maintain composure amid the heat and cow dung but we will persevere! As for the donations - PayPal can accept donations with or without an account and from a wide range of credit cards - however i have not tested it with AMEX... but give it another shot - for the kids dammit! Much love to all from the steamy alleys of Varanasi. - Doug
Hi Doug&Heath, Luv ur YouTube video... the trip seems like a really amazing experience. WHAT THE LAMA SAID IS TRULY ESSENTIAL, "Have a peace of mind, not just seeking for happiness through the material world." btw, I try to donate money using my Amex card but the system won't accept it... can you please let me know how to make it work? (perhaps other ppl can't use their Amex to donate either?) Wish you both travel safe! SENDING LOTS OF LOVING WISHES TOWARD YOUR WAY!! gc
Hi you sharp dressed men! We just wanted to say it was great meeting you guys in Tibet and we wish you the best of luck on your journey. We think it's great that you're helping so many people along the way while keeping us at home entertained with your antics! Stephanie & Alex
Hi there Douglas! Have just been speaking to your mum at the club (I work here) & she told me all about your fantastic travels.. Just wanted to say all the best & good luck!
